Third generation of vine growers for this winegrowing of 50 ha, on ground very stony red marno-limestone and argilo-limestone, acid and sandy brown grounds, heavy siliceous grounds on gneiss, brown grounds decarbonated on loess and loehms, acid grounds of alluvial origin. The vineyard is led under organic farming since 2001. Beautiful Riesling Grand Cru Praelatenberg 2008, a wine which has much body and powerfull, of a great aromatic expression marked by very ripe fruit scents, then mineral notes. The Muscatfermented Engel 2008, with scents of flowers in mouth, with the intense nose with prevailing of white flowers and small dried fruits, is a wine all in smoothness, persistent. The Pinot Noir 2009 is of fleshy mouth, robe ruby, with the concentrated nose (violet and blackcurrant), with melted tannins, persisting finally. Beautiful Pinot Gris Vendanges Tardives 2007, combining powerfull and smoothness, with the nose of guard, rose and gingerbread great. There is still this very nicebrut Crémant d’Alsace Chardonnay Méthode Traditionnelle 2008, silver medal in Effervescents of Monde 2009, the subtle and persistent nose with prevailing of toast, nice foam, a long floralfinal. Excellent Riesling Siberberg Rorschwir fermented Michel 2008, with these subtle connotations where intermingle the ripe white fruits, the fresh spices and flowers, of intense mouth. |

I feel country and craftsman of the vine.” It is concerned to transmit to the future generations the soil, the organic soil, the old vines, the know-how and the passion of the family, vine growers of father as son since XVIe century. They protect their vineyard by privileging the biological means. The winegrowing is likely to have very nice soils of schists, sands and clays (10 ha 30, 40 year old vines). Superb Riesling Grand Cru Kastelberg 2007, with the subtle nose where the fresh fruits and the lime prevail, a vintage which associates a sure elegance with a roundness in attractive mouth, an elegant wine and very right. RieslingGrand Cru Moenchberg 2006 is intense with the nose as in mouth, with this doubled floral freshness of fruity nuances, with the flowered bouquet, with notes of hazel nut and lily. Beautiful Riesling Grand Cru Wiebelsberg 2007, a wine all in aromas, of a great persistence in the nose as in mouth, with scents of fresh citrus fruits and nut. Taste also the Pinot Gris Grand Cru Wiebelsberg 2008, intense, which associates structure and distinction, with these notes of smoked specific, all finally, a wine of excellent evolution. |

A vineyard of 7 ha (the average age of the vines is 30 years, the grape harvest are manual, prunes it in guyot doubles) planted on granitic grounds, where one applies to practice a healthy culture (Tyflo association). Remarkable Riesling Grand Cru Frankstein 2008, which associates richness aromatic and persistence, dense in mouth, with delicate scents of almond, rose and dry apricot. Pinot Gris vintage Prestige 2008 is a very well-balanced wine, of mouth powerful, rich in bouquet, harmonious, with the dried fruit notes, slightly spiced. RieslingVieilles Vignes 2008 is dry and quite fruity, full with charm, with musk scents, a wine which combines powerfull and smoothness. Beautiful Pinot Gris Vieilles Vignes 2007, an intense and robust wine with a beautiful roundness ideal with aperitif or with foie gras. Superb Pinot GrisGrand Cru Fransktein Vendanges Tardives 2007, powerful, with these crystallized peach and honey notes of acacia, combining suppleness and structure, of a long final. GewurztraminerExcellence 2008, with the delicate floral connotations, is of unctuous mouth, elegant and complex, of intense mouth, combining powerfull and distinction, of a beautiful fullness. |

Beautiful white Pinot, complexes, with the intense nose, a finely spiced, subtle wine and suave mouth, where the fruits and the fresh flowers intermingle, always perfect on a quiche, and its Muscat, which combines nervousness and roundness, with the enchanting and persistent nose, a wine all in delicacy, harmonious, with the white fruit aromas, of a beautiful elegance and a great aromatic richness.
