Gaillac Domaine de Pialentou

Domaine de Pialentou is located on terraces on the left bank of the Tarn in Brens, just a stone's throw from the charming Renaissance town of Gaillac. On these pebble and gravel slopes, the vines benefit from exceptional exposure to the sun. Since October 1998, the Domaine has been the property of Jean and Kai Gervais. They immediately threw themselves into a large-scale vineyard and winery modernisation programme with the single aim of bringing out the excellent ageing qualities of the wines of the estate, whilst preserving all their charm and persionality. You can taste the remarkable Gaillac Les Gentilles Pierres red, for instance.

Côtes-de-Bergerac Château Le Mayne

CHATEAU LE MAYNEFounded at the end of the 19th century, the Martrenchard vineyards perpetuate an image of quality and tradition। Today, the great-grandson, Jean-Pierre Martrenchard combines the skills built up over four generations and the latest in wine-making techniques to offer a full range of quality wines. Made with the noblest varieties on a terroir which provides ideal exposure to the sun, the wines fully deserve their high standing, whether it be the dry or sweet whites, the rosés or the reds. The many medals and awards which have been won bear testimony to all the efforts made over the decades. Just taste the remarkable Côtes-de-Bergerac red Cuvée Réservée with its deep, intense colour, full body and characteristic nose of over-ripe fruit, spices and humus. It is strong on local character, complex and fleshy, excellent in the mouth and good for laying down. As well as this, there is the Côtes-de-Bergerac sweet white, combining finesse and body in the mouth, very fruity and ideal with desserts.
