Cave de Rasteau-Ortas

Created in 1925, the Cave de Rasteau is one of the oldest cellars of the Côtes-du-Rhône wines। The Cellar owes its notoriety with the wines Doux Naturels thanks to Grenache black, type of vine king of the appellation. Misant always on Grenache, but by adding Syrah et Mourvèdre, the Cellar produces today dry red wines recognized and appreciated in the whole world. The territory of Rasteau is very interesting, its ground is of a great diversity, argillaceous, stony, on slopes (350 meters), ideally exposed to the south. Superb Rasteau Prestige 2005, resulting from old vines, with the nose of scrub, of fresh blackcurrant, with the mouth elegant and melted with a long final on réglissées and spiced notes, the ideal companion of the red meats, mushrooms and roasted small game. In the line, the CDR-Village-Rasteau Les Hauts du Village 2004 resulting from a compartmental selection, a long maceration and a partial maturing out of barrels, is a cordial wine, with powerful currant aromas, of pepper and black small fruits with brandy, of deep mouth, full and elegant at the same time, of guard. The 2003 with the undergrowth and prune notes, of full and generous mouth, with firm and silky tannins at the same time, of color crimson, is a beautiful powerful and cordial wine, much the fleshy one and of roundness, in mouth undergrowth, liquorice and pepper.

Santenay Clos Bellefond

Resulting from an old vigneronne family originating in Santenay, Louis NIE acquired, in 1889, the Domaine du CLOS BELLEFOND, which remains still a family winegrowing today। Located at the South of the Côte de Beaune, Santenay , cité wine, tourist and… thermal, the Field exclusively exploits appellations villages and Premiers Crus on finings of SANTENAY, CHASSAGNE-MONTRACHET, VOLNAY and POMMARD. On these grounds geologically varied of the Côte de Beaune, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, used out of mono-type of vine, allow the vinificator to express perfectly the typicity of the wines. Faithful to the Burgundian traditions and without worrying about the phenomena of mode, after a manual harvest with the rigorous sorting, the wine makings take place out of tanks of oak, opened and under trays, during ten days. The wines are then matured out of barrels, during one period from 18 to 20 months according to the powerfull of the vintage; bottled then preserved in our cellars until their forwarding. Superb Santenay Clos Bellefond rouge 2005, resulting from poor grounds of an old career, with silky and rich tannins at the same time, which feels good the red fruits and the humus, very accessible, of very good evolution like the 2003, of beautiful intense red color, with the nose marked by blackberry aromas, full, very persistent, very delicate, with supple and powerful tannins at the same time. At its sides, the Santenay Premier Cru La Comme 2003 is of a nice vivid red, with the notes of liquorice and of morello cherry, associating structure and smoothness, fleshy and tasty, of persistent mouth, excellent guard (the 2001 and 99 are remarkable today). Beautiful Chassagne-Montrachet rouge Premier Cru Morgeot 2005, a wine very typified, resulting from deep and argillaceous grounds, with tannins quite present, very well-balanced, combining structure and suppleness, with ripe and complex red fruit aromas, undergrowth and of liquorice, full in mouth, of very good guard. The Volnay-Santenots Premier Cru 2005, of vivid color, is rich with the nose, with these subtle connotations. The Pommard Premier Cru La Platière 2005, resulting from stony grounds, is of beautiful intense, with the powerful notes of red fruits. The 2002 all color, with these subtle and intense notes of overripe red small fruits, are very made a success of. There is also the Santenay Premier Cru Passetemps 2004, of beautiful intense dress, a wine with tannins silky, solid, of cordial and powerful mouth, still young.

Puisseguin-Saint-Émilion Château Haut-Saint-Clair

These likeable owners brood their vineyard whose vines are 35 years old। The type of vines Merlot (65%), Cabernet franc (25%) and Cabernet-Sauvignon (10%) are associated with this soil argilo-limestone and meticulous care (stripping, grapes sorted before picking off, long macerations, breeding out of barrels, of which 1/3 is renewed each year…). “The 2007 are one year of vine grower, tells us Yannick Le Menn, one did not have to leave in weekend in May or in June, it was necessary to be with work, it was dominating! The Indian summer completed well the maturation of the grapes and it is also thanks to our second sort table which we clearly improved the purity of the raw material that we put out of tanks. We oxygenated to round polyphenols, which makes the wines tastier, and our 2007 are very satisfactory, the wine is quite fruity, not too tannic, it will be pleasant in its youth, supple and very pleasant.

Bordeaux Supérieur Château Boutillon

A warm and friendly person, Louis Filippi has been running Château Boutillon, a vineyard of 16 hectares, since 1965। When you fly over the heights of Mesterrieux (Louis Filippi is also the Chairman of the flying club), near La Réole in the south of the Gironde, you cannot miss the elegant building. This former journalist for the newspaper "Ouest France" and ex-headmaster of the Sainte-Marie school in Langon, fell in love with vine-growing in the same way as he has with everything he has undertaken. The red has fine, distinguished red-fruit aromas and is a dense wine combining structure and suppleness and with well-balanced tannins. It is full bodied, very aromatic and excellent for laying down. The rosé is very pleasant and well-balanced. It has subtle, delicate aromas.

Chinon Domaine Gouron

Founded in 1946 by René Gouron, the DOMAINE will develop with the support of his Jacky son until in the Eighties। From now on, they are the little children LAURENT and STEPHANE which vinify and market together the 28 hectares which account the family property. Classified in Appellation CHINON Contrôlée le DOMAINE GOURON is parcelled out in many pieces: argilo-limestone and argilo-siliceous, on the slopes and gravels interfered sands, in plain. This diversity of grounds made it possible to create various vintages emphasizing the expression, fruity in plain and robust on the slopes. All the year an important work is granted to the vine in order to obtain the best fruits: the requirement of one prunes short, of the enherbés grounds and of polishing direct themselves towards controlled outputs, a better concentration and the respect of our environment. Our wines are matured in the micaceous chalk cellars with ideal conditions then bottled at the property.
