Classified First Great wine. For more than forty years castle has belonged to the Beaumartin family. It is a wine harmonious, elegant, of a more tender approach, tannins are more delicate, more advanced, it there does not have no firmness, keeps average. Beautiful 2004, rich color, fullbodied, robust, of tasty mouth, with firm but very elegant tannins, the complex nose prevailed by cherry and leather, round and robust, a wine still quite young, of very beautiful guard. 2003 are remarkable, of ample mouth, combining this fleshy characteristic of the appellation to finely spiced notes, a powerful wine, of very good guard. 2002, of deep color, with much of structure, with the nose complex where the blackcurrant and the undergrowth prevail, with tannins powerful and silky at the same time, starts to open. Particularly attractive today, the 2001, dense, fleshy, combining powerfull and distinction, of a large smoothness, where the cooked fruits and the spices prevail, intense with the nose as in mouth with nuances of cherry and truffle. 2000, fleshy, with a strong color, are fleshy, with the notes of currant very ripe, vanilla and quite characteristic humuses. Perfect in this moment, the 99 is all in mouth, with this beautiful robe with the light reflections crimsons, red and a deep black fruit nose ripe with spiced notes, a wine full with smoothness to the tender matter, structured well. Remarkable 98, of beautiful tannic structure, powerful and molten at the same time, of a beautiful concentration, with the red nutmeg and macerated fruit notes, a wine very representative of this great traditional vintage.
