It is approximately into 1680 that first Dussourt, officer of the army of Louis XIV, arrived to Alsace. And it is towards 1740 that Jean Dussourt saw himself managing the vineyard of évêché in Blienschwiller. It is François-Xavier Dussourt, wine grower established with Blienschwiller, which is at the origin of the 7 generations of vine growers who perpetuated the tradition of the work of the vine so far. A vineyard of 10 ha with 40 pieces on grounds sandy, granitic, argilo-limestones and sandy, 25 year old vines. One understands better this Riesling Réserve Prestige 2006, very on the fruit, with persistent aromas of dry fruits and citrus fruits, mouthfull, of beautiful final, very robust but very distinguished at the same time. The 2005 are of yellow color gold to the reflections ambers, develop floral and spiced nuances. Pinot gray Réserve Particulière 2005 is mouthfull, scented and typified, of a very beautiful expression.

At the top of First Classified Great wines. Beautiful Gewurztraminer Clos des Anges 2006, a wine complex and powerful, with mineral notes, very delicate, of unctuous mouth, with the robe intense, warm, of a great persistence, very good evolution. Riesling Grand Cru Praelatenberg de Kintzheim 2006, marked by its soil, elegant, of nice brilliant robe, powerful and delicate at the same time, well-balanced, is scented, very attractive, complex, with a beautiful aromatic, harmonious slightly spiced intensity and is distinguished. Tasty Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Altenberg de Bergheim 2005, with its beautiful golden robe, it is a very beautiful wine with the nose intense and complex, rich and delicate at the same time, typified, delicately spiced, robust, very promising. Pinot black is of fleshy mouth, robe ruby, with the concentrated nose (violet and blackcurrant), with melted tannins, persisting finally. After, this Pinot gray Clos des Anges 2006, with the dense nose, the very marked citrus fruits notes (grapefruit), a complex wine which combine suppleness and structure, powerful, all in complexity of aromas (yellow fruits, lime). Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives 2005, a beautiful fleshy and delicate wine, is all in aromatic persistence (rose, toast), intense in the nose as in mouth, with these notes of smoked specific. Excellent rosy Crémant of Alsace brut, of quite well-balanced mouth where raspberry is found, very pleasant.

A winegrowing where the reasoned fight is practiced. Exceptional Gewurztraminer Sélection De Grains Nobles 2005, very concentrated, with the powerful candied fruits aromas, of slow evolution, which should hold all its promises. Excellent Riesling Terroir Itterswiller 2006, intense with the nose as in mouth, with the flowered bouquet, with notes of hazel nut and lily, all in smoothness. Very nice brut Crémant d’Alsace Prestige, light foam and lives, with these nuances of fresh fruits and lime, a round and harmonious vintage which is appreciated on a tart with the mirabelle plums. Pinot black 2005, matured out of barrels, combines powerfull and suppleness, with these very persistent notes of smoked and strawberry of wood, to taste on a joint of pork.

At the top of First Classified Great wines. Family winegrowing since four generations, led by Robert and Astrid Muhlberger, Philippe Muhlberger their son. Their Their philosophy vine grower is summarized in these words: Live with the Vine! Live with the Wine! " According to rules and convictions defined and tried by wine growers' generations, clarifies the warm Robert Muhlberger, so that spells: Vineyard, Vine, Wine grower's wine, with V of the Truth! To mature with wisdom and passion, in the compliance with traditional rules, are the means implemented with an aim of producing authentic wines and of rare elegance. A mode of respectful control of the environment: permanent putting under grass of the vines, not of chemical amendments nor of remanent weedkillers, fights biological against the ravageurs, interventions reasoned against the diseases containing copper and of sulfur, observation and respect of the natural cycle of the vine and the plants on the ground, reinforcement of the proper capacities of defense of the vine, contributions of natural trace elements on foliage… Harvest: manual grape harvest to return a selected harvest, whole, not triturated and properly sorted grapes. Wine making: to work out the wines by respecting their own rate/rhythm of evolution, with wisdom and patience, starting from spontaneous fermentations without yeast contributions commercial.” The whole gives this superb Riesling Les Vieux Coteaux 2005 (evolution in the denomination of their Riesling Altenberg by his translation in Riesling Les Vieux Coteaux: it is a question of their decision of not more asserting the appellation Grand Cru for the pieces delimited in the perimeter in question), a dense great wine, very charmer, of persistent mouth, prevailed by floral aromas (acacia), very promising. Excellent Pinot black fermented of Jeunes Loups 2005, of which the maturing is done out of barrels of oak, with a strong color, with the fruity and floral notes complex, combining structure and smoothness, tasty, of dense mouth. Superb Gewurztraminer Vendanges Tardives 2005, a rare great wine, where one finds frank notes of roasted, of brioche and candied fruits, dense and distinguished at the same time. Crémant of Alsace Blanc of white brut traditional method is of foam delicate, of a beautiful harmony, very out of fruit and smoothness, full, with the subtle nuances of apple and dry fruits, suave, rich in mouth (citrus fruits, hawthorn, almond…), very harmonious, to lead with aperitif as to a salmon. Remarkable quality-price-pleasure ratio.

At the top. A vineyard of 7 ha (the average age of the vines is 30 years, the grape harvest are manual, prunes it in guyot double) planted on granitic grounds, where one applies to practice a healthy culture (Tyflo association). One gives pleasure with this Riesling Grand Cru Frankstein Clos du Bernstein 2006, a wine very representative of this vintage, full and persistent, with these notes of citrus fruits and spice touch, very intense with the nose as in mouth. At its sides, Pinot gray cuvée Prestige 2006, of intense mouth, a firm wine, very out of fruits, with the concentrated nose where prevail smoked and nut. Excellent Riesling Vieilles Vignes 2006, gold medal with Mâcon, of yellow gold robe, with the subtle floral scents, of full and robust mouth, a long final. Superb Pinot gray Grand Cru Fransktein Vendanges Tardives 2003, full with charm, combining powerfull and smoothness, with the nose of rose and gingerbread, great guard wine. Pinot black 2005, matured out of barrels, bronze medal, is of a beautiful garnet-red color crimson, with the nose of blackberry and undergrowth.

Incontestably at the top of first classified great wines. “As a whole, says to us Charles Schléret, the vintage 2008 resembles the 2007, with a beautiful aromatic expression, but for certain wines, the lack of sun with given wines with lighter structures and well marked acidities. Riesling: often a little too acid but some are quite well-balanced it will be one vintage of long guard. Gewurztraminer: miss a little maturity, but some have a very appreciable steady acidity. Muscat: very weak yield, much of run-out, the remaining bays were very ripe and of very beautiful quality but less juice. Pinot black: good maturity with a good acidity. The climatic conditions required a very rigorous work of the vine to obtain a good maturity of the grapes. To note falls in quantities but not exceptional. Wines overall of a good balance and a vintage of great guard.” While waiting, there are its Gewurztraminer 2007, gold medal with the international challenge of the wine, very aromatic (spices, citrus fruits), quite characteristic of its soil, rich with the nose as in mouth, full and typified. Its Sylvaner 2007, silver medal Monde Sélection Brussels, is the best tasted this year, complex, with the intense nose, it is a wine all in delicacy, of very subtle mouth with nuances of honeysuckle and apple, a wine of gourmet. Pinot black 2007, Féminalisé 2008 (Competition of Féminalises 2008, in Beaune), all into fruity, is mouthfull, elegant, with this quite specific spice point. Remarkable Riesling 2005, trophy prestige big competition of the wines of the world the citadels of France, of which freshness proposes the fruit, a wine distinguished, with the nose of rose, very delicate, of powerful and persistent mouth. Beautiful Pinot gray 2004, gold medal with world of Brussels, spiced as it should be, of harmonious mouth, quite robust, generous, of a great aromatic richness, with the intense robe. Taste also Pinot white, complexes, with the intense nose, a finely spiced, subtle wine and suave mouth, where the fruits and the fresh flowers intermingle, always perfect on a quiche, and its Muscat. Superb Pinot gray Sélection De Grains Nobles 2000, very typified as they are liked, spiced and floral (rose, flower of acacia), of full and well-balanced mouth, really remarkable, of beautiful guard, medal-holder with the world selections in Montreal and trophy of excellence citadels.
